Sessions generally take place during a six to twelve month period.
Leadership Skills Training - Our consultants provide one-day or multi-day trainings for grassroots activists, educators, parents, and teens on How to Lead Effectively, How to Organize an Effective Advocacy Campaign, How to Run an Effective Meeting, How to Build Effective Coalitions, and How to Use the Media as a Tool.
Needs Assessment - Our consultants work with you to develop a comprehensive assessment to determine the social, economic, and environmental needs of communities. This service is essential in helping you research your target population and/or locale as you plan your program and/or project. Sessions vary depending on the needs of the organization and/or campaign.
Organizational Assessment - Our consultants work with you to complete a quality assurance assessment of your organization's management and governance practices for the purpose of building organizational capacity, effectiveness, and efficiency. Sessions vary depending on the needs of the organization and/or campaign.
Outcomes Measurement - Our consultants work with you to construct a logic model to improve your program planning, implementation, and evaluation process. Sessions are spread over the course of one to two weeks.
Program Evaluation - Our consultants work with you to develop a comprehensive evaluation of your program's effectiveness and success in achieving its articulated outcomes. Sessions vary depending on the needs of the organization and/or campaign.
Public Policy/Social Advocacy - Our consultants work with you to develop a public education, information, and/or social advocacy campaign for the purpose of raising awareness regarding a pressing social, economic, and/or environmental issue. Depending on the project, consultants might provide media advocacy, communications coaching, strategic marketing, letter writing support, event management, and/or meeting coordination. Sessions vary depending on the needs of the organization and/or campaign.
Strategic Planning - Our consultants work with you or your organization to determine its short and long-term goals. Sessions vary depending on the needs of the organization and/or campaign.
Youth Development - Our consultants, certified BEST/AYD (Building Exemplary Systems for Training Youth Workers/Advancing Youth Development) facilitators, provide one-day or multi-day trainings that provide opportunities for adult staff and volunteers to explore, share, and learn new strategies for working with youth.
Youth Engagement - Our consultants facilitate hands-on educational and motivational workshops for youth and young adults on various topics including self-sufficiency, literacy, self-esteem, and entrepreneurship. Sessions vary depending on the needs of the organization and/or campaign.
