The Board Development sessions are either one-day Board retreats or multi-day sessions spread out over the course of a one to three month period.

Copywriting – Our consultants work with you to develop creative advertising campaigns, annual reports, blogs, brochures, business letters, curricula, educational materials, employee handbooks, essays, grant proposals, newsletters, op-eds, press releases, reports, speeches, and training manuals.

Executive Succession and Transition Planning – Our consultants assist your organization with major leadership transitions including succession planning. Our consultants assess your organization’s changing leadership needs and works with advisors, board members, staff, and when appropriate clients and/or participants of the organization to design and implement an Executive Director recruitment and selection strategy. These sessions generally run six months to a year.

Leadership Skills Training – Our consultants provide one-day or multi-day trainings for grassroots activists, educators, parents, and teens on how to lead effectively, how to organize an effective advocacy campaign, how to run an effective meeting, how to build effective coalitions, how to mediate and resolve conflicts, and how to use the media as a tool.

Needs Assessment – Our consultants work with you to develop a comprehensive assessment to determine the social, economic, and environmental needs of a community where your organization is planning to implement a campaign, program, or project. Sessions generally run from seven to fourteen days.

Organizational Assessment – Our consultants work with you to complete a quality assurance assessment of your organization’s management and governance practices for the purpose of building organizational capacity, effectiveness, and efficiency. Sessions are spread over the course of one month.

Outcomes Measurement – Our consultants work with you to construct a logic model to improve your program planning and evaluation process. Sessions are spread over the course of five days.

Program Evaluation - Our consultants work with you to develop a comprehensive evaluation of your program’s effectiveness and success in achieving its articulated outcomes. Sessions generally run throughout your established program year.

Public Policy/Social Advocacy – Our consultants work with you to develop a pubic education, information or social advocacy campaign to raise awareness regarding a pressing social, economic, or environmental issue. Consultants might provide media advocacy, communications coaching, strategic marketing and branding, letter writing, event management, and meeting coordination.

Strategic Planning – Our consultants work with your campaign or organization over a period of three to six months to determine where it wants to be in the future and the best way to get there. Consultants might conduct individual or group interviews of constituents, staff, volunteers, advisors, or board members as part of the process.

Youth Development – Our consultants provide multi-day trainings for adult staff, volunteers, advisors, and board members to explore, share, and learn new strategies for working with youth.

Youth Engagement – Our consultants facilitate a variety of hands-on workshops for youth and young adults. Workshops generally last seventy-five minutes to an hour and focus on a variety of topics including self-mastery, self-worth, entrepreneurship, and faith.
